Dear Parents,

Thank you for all you do working with your children!

You have probably noticed on your child’s report card that we do not know much about the cultural diversity in our classroom. What I need to get from you is something about the history of your family. Put on a poster something about your child’s heritage. I know we have children with parents and grandparents and great grandparents from other countries. We would love a poster with a picture or 2 of where your family is from. Even if you are just from a different state! For example, my great grandparents came here from Norway. There is not a right or a wrong way to make the poster. Please tell us any traditions that you have that might be unique. This will be due the Wednesday after spring break if at all possible.
