Our Lady of Lourdes Curriculum
 
Pre-K Curriculum

Pre-K Curriculum is aligned with Diocesan Curricular Standards
Language/Literacy, Math, Handwriting and Social Sciences are taught through thematic units in large group and small group. Children spend 120 minutes a day in differentiated, center-based learning that aligns with the weekly or monthly thematic unit.
Language/Literacy: Frog Street Press Program
Religion: Our Sunday Visitor Allelu! is taught in the classroom as a core course. Additionally, the Catechesis of the Good Shepard program is incorporated once a week. Children attend weekly Mass.
P.E.: 30 minutes twice weekly
Music: 30 minutes twice weekly
Library: 30 minutes weekly
Art: 30 minutes weekly

Kindergarten Curriculum

Kindergarten Curriculum aligns with the Diocesan Kindergarten Curricular Standards
Reading/Language, Math, Handwriting and Social Sciences are taught through thematic units in large group and small group. Children spend a minimum of 100 minutes a day in differentiated, center-based learning that aligns with the weekly thematic unit.

Accelerated Reading
Math: Pearson Envision 2.0 Math
Science: Nancy Larson Science Program
Religion: Our Sunday Visitor Allelu! is taught in the classroom as a core course. Additionally, the Catechesis of the Good Shepard program is incorporated once a week.
